Easter Card with Emerald Creek

Hello Everyone,

Today, I've cute Easter card to share with you.
We have started new theme for Challenge at Emerald Creek- "Easter"

I created a card ....

I had great time playing with Emerald Creek Stamps, embossing Powders and Charms.


here is the making procedure for background of this card.

To start off on oval shape card, I applied Distress paints with dauber top. Dried the surface with heat tool. Here you will see I applied Wendy Vecchi white embossing paste through Tim Holtz layered stencils. When the paste is wet, I sprinkled Emerald Creek Embossing powders- Pastel Lilac and Fluorescent yellow. embossing paste holds embossing powder perfectly. Allowed paste to dry naturally.

And after the paste dried completely, I used heat tool to cook up embossing powder. I got this yum texture! This is fab technique, I tried for the first time :-)

Look at this cuteness!! Bunny basket, Daisy flowers and Butterfly are stamp images which I colored with distress inks. I love that Silver Bird charm and flower brads... just enhances the beauty!

Mixed Media Tag

Hello Everyone,

I've got this wonderful Sizzix Tag collection Die set from Scrapbooking.gr/ The Crafters Joyride and I couldn't wait to make one!

here is the making process...

I cut out 2 tags from Kaisercraft Limelight collection papers with Sizzix Tag die

I adhered them on one another, distressed the edges. I also created collage on the tag with small pieces.

I just spritzed Distress stains on the tag and created layers. In between each color I dried it with heat tool. I've used Picket fence, brushed pewter, mermaid lagoon and ground espresso distress stains.

I've used flowers, metal charms, resin frame/ bird, rhinestones as embellishments.

I added sticker sentiment and my tag was ready!

Sizzix Fanciful Fairy and mixed media

Hello Everyone,

I am so delighted to share with you this beautiful project with Sizzix Fanciful Fairy (designed by Pete Hughes)

I've created this as a part of my DT post at Scrapbooking.gr/ The Crafters Joyride
 

I worked on thick chipboard, size: 9"*5.5"

Here are the steps I followed for making....

I cut out text paper from Prima fairy rhyme collection to adhere on the chipboard, primed it with white gesso. For creating texture, I used Tim Holtz flourish stencil and texture paste. Let it dry completely.

To get the color on surface I used distress paints (tattered rose, Victorian velvet, worn lipstick, spun sugar) and distress stains(festive berries, picket fence). I love addition of gold ink on this whole textured background with Heidi Swapp Gold Lame.

Focal point of my creation is this wonderful fairy. I have used Sizzix Fanciful fairy die, which has very detail design. I cut out 4-5 fairies, out of which one with gold glitter paper (DCWV). I attached all of them to get 3D dimension.

I layered doilies, flowers, ribbon as a beautiful base for this Fairy!

I also added few more glitter butterflies for more interest.

Be Brave Journal Page

Hello Everyone,

Have you checked great sentiment stamps from Visible Image? they are truly inspiring!

I have created journal page with one of it!

I've used that lovely feather from Visible stamp set "Learn to Fly again" and " Stay strong" sentiment stamp.
For the background I've used layers of old book pages, textures, washi tapes and Neon Acrylic colors (Scorching yellow, Torrid Orange, Sizzling pink) and Desert turquoise, flesh tone acrylics from DecoArt Americana. I've also used Industrial elements stencil from DecoArt

Fairy Card

Love this cute fairy !!

Window is a chipboard which is treated with clear Crackle. I've used distress paints onto that when it dried.

Some flowers and embellishments are from Tresors de luxe and some are handmade with dies.
