Mother's day card and some News...

Hello Everyone!! Happy Mother's Day!!

Here is the card I made for my mom...as the colors indicate...she is very soft person.

I've shared step by step tutorial how to make these stamped 3d flowers at Lulupu blog. Stamp is from Heartfelt creation.

And the News is..
A couple of months ago Nikita  had to step down as Lulupu blog Coordinator  due to her personal reasons. I was honored when Karuna asked me to fill the role! I've been quietly working behind the scenes, and I'm so happy to be able to share the news with you all! I am officially Lulupu blog coordinator now.
Karuna, the Lulupu Owner and I "click" and  I'm SO glad we're friends, and so honored she chose me to help her on this amazing journey!  I love the fabulous team of Lulupu designers, they are so inspiring and our Lulupu fans are amazing to interact with!

So that's a little bit of news..Thank you, as always, for visiting and for your support, sweet comments! Love you All.

Monocromatic Mixed Media Frame

Hello Everyone,

I've created the frame with thick chipboard. I attached design paper from DCWV Old world collection. Then created one more layer with textured pink handmade paper on the one side with foam tabs, as it gives 3d effect. After this I used Dylusions  Luscious leaves stencil and white acrylic paint to create leafy vine border. Adhered pink flower lace, it has same color as paper flowers, and it has lot of shimmer on which camera captured differently. Diecut rectangle is colored at the edeges with worn lipstick distress ink and placed in the center again with foam tabs. Added flowers, buttons, sprays.

Art Journal Inspired by Darcy Month 4

 Hello Everyone,

Darcy's journal for 4th month is up since April 26th. It took me 4 days to finish this journal page along with other projects (It is A3 size page). And it is always a fun to try out many techniques Darcy demonstrates. Here is my take...

So which techniques I've used here..
  • recycling old painty scrap paper
  • grunge paste on fabric
  • Colouring fabric with paint
  • Mixing opaque paints to create new shades
  • Doodled outlines
  • Create a paint swatch/palette to choose shades from
  • Stencilling onto tissue paper
  • Creating runny paint for dripping
  • Using crackle glaze
