Hello Everyone,
I've created new journal page today with new techniques and new products.
Recently I received media products from DecoArt as a member of Blogger Outreach program and I couldn't wait to try out their Antiquing Creams.
I've taken few pictures while making this page. I followed tutorial given by Andy Skinner on You Tube. I made small changes as per my interest.
I started with pre-gessoed page, on that I created texture with Black Modeling paste and CW stencils...
doesn't it look fab!
Next layers were with Patina Green and Titanium White Antiquing creams. Between the layers I dried the colors and removed some to give aged look.
here is the link to Andy Skinner tutorial where you will get an idea about this.
For these white bubbles, I spritzed White Shimmer Mister through Prima bubble stencil.
I've also done some texture stamping with Ranger Archival inks.
I diecut butterflies from Sizzix Butterfly Duo and adhered on page.
"ART" word is from Artistic stamper stamp set.
I had a fun time playing with these new mediums.
DecoArt Products used:
DecoArt Media Modeling Paste- Black
DecoArt Media Antiquing Cream Patina Green
DecoArt Media Antiquing Cream Titanium White
DecoArt Media Shimmer Mister White
Thanks so much for stopping by.
