Give me wings... Triptych

Hello Everyone,

On every 5th day of month, we start new challenge at The Mirror Cracked Mixed Media .
"Triptych" - is the theme of May.

Here is my inspiration project...

I've used my newest Sizzix Arch die for this. Girl's images are from Pinterest. Aren't they cute?
I've taken photos of individual piece, before I attach together.

For all background I've used embossed paper and Tim's wallflower paper.

After that, I applied various watercolors until I was satisfied.Let it dry completely.

Next I stamped text and butterflies and adhered newspaper washi tape. I used Wendy Vecchi Embossing powder in various colors to get more texture on it.
after that I adhered all girls pictures, lace and flowers.
Love how they all together .....

Dont forget to visit The Mirror Cracked challenge blog for more inspirational projects by my teamies.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

A very beautiful and vintage Triptych, Your images look fabulous on this and the texture and elements are just perfect. You have kept it fairly simple but so very effective.
Hope all is settling down for you with your daughter and that she is okay.

  8. What a lovely project. Especially love that each girl has her own color background and matching butterfly. Your backgrounds are so pretty and compliment the adorable girls so well. Probably not many will remember but many years ago - Northern Tissue put out a child in pictures and each picture was basically one color - rather like your lovely girls here Shilpa. I loved those pictures and so your project brought back sweet memories for me! Very creative! j.
