'Home' - Mixed Media

Hello Everyone,

I started off with packaging box, cut it into desirable size board. I adhered old notebook pages. Onto that first layer was gesso, then texture paste through Tim's burlap stencil. Brought the color on it with Distress paints. One more layer of circles with black gesso.

I adhered gauze. Next, I  prepared the black oval center piece with packaging board and attached. Made the circle with Jute thread (which came from home stash) and adhered behind the Bird's home.

Other embellishments are Prima Resin bird house, paper flowers, handmade leaves, wood veneer birds.
